Lourdes Bloomfield


Lourdes Velez Bloomfield is a partner at Bloomfield|Ros Law. She concentrates her practice in the areas of insurance disputes. Lourdes has experience in handling all types of property insurance matters, such as claims denied under policy exclusions, claims denied due to failure to comply with policy conditions, and claims wherein payment was issued and the amount of recovery remains in dispute. Lourdes handles cases from inception through all phases of the litigation process including preparation for trial and use of alternative dispute resolution techniques.

Prior to establishing Bloomfield|Ros Law, Lourdes gained experience in first and third party property insurance claims while working at Roig Lawyers, a notable top 200 defense firm. In addition, Lourdes gained experience in first and third party property insurance claims at plaintiffs’ law firms. While in law school, she served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Antonio Arzola where she gained valuable experience conducting legal research and drafting memorandums. Lourdes was Guardian ad Litem for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida prior to practicing law. She handled a caseload advocating for the best interest of children in dependency and family proceedings.

Lourdes earned her Juris Doctorate from the St. Thomas University School of law in 2015 and her undergraduate degree from Florida International University in 2008.

Roxana Ros is a Partner at Bloomfield | Ros Law in the area of general litigation and Insurance disputes. Roxana handles Insurance disputes in all states of the litigation process and provides individuals and businesses facing or pursuing litigation with legal representation to defend their interest.

Prior to establishing Bloomfield | Ros Law Roxana gained experience in the field of Insurance disputes by working with multiple First Party and Third Party Plaintiff’s firms. While pursing her Juris Doctor Roxana served as a Judicial intern for Honorable Beth Bloom of the United States District Court of the Southern District of Florida, and as a clinical intern to the staff attorneys at the Miami Dade Ethic Commission on Ethics and Public Trust.

Roxana gained her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of law where she graduated Cum Laude and achieved the CALI Excellence for the future award in Contracts, Civil Procedure, and Evidence. Roxana gained her undergraduate degree at Florida International University where she graduated Cum Laude.
